The Maryland Community Action Partnership (MCAP) is seeking dynamic experts who will educate, inspire and motivate government and nonprofit organizations throughout Maryland, Delaware and the District of Columbia at the annual Human Services Conference which will be held May 5-8, 2020 in Ocean City, Maryland.

You are invited to submit a presentation proposal that addresses important issues to assist with the delivery of services for low-income people and families.

The State Association provides technical assistance and training to the board of directors and staffs of these agencies, as well as, as to other nonprofit organizations with similar missions who may partner with community action agencies.

Submission Guidelines

All proposals should include the following:

  • Engaging content that involves the audience and stimulates discussion.

  • Learning objectives/outcomes the audience will acquire as a result of your workshop.

  • Qualified presenters with expertise/experience in the subject matter.

Additional Information

  • Submissions will be reviewed for relevance and purpose to provide a balanced workshop.

  • Presenters are paid neither honoraria nor expenses.

  • MCAP reserves the right to make changes to proposed presentation titles and descriptions, to place sessions in alternative topic areas, if multiple proposals are submitted on similar topics.

  • Submissions are due by December 20, 2019.
